THE SPINE MINDSET

“Less time on repetition.
More time for better engineering.”
01 / TIME

Give your time a better purpose.

Put repetitive steps in their place. Keep your attention on the decisions that matter.

02 / QUALITY

Make room for a closer look.

A clearer workflow creates space for careful review and considered design.

03 / PRODUCTIVITY

Build momentum into your day.

Keep analysis, design and delivery moving through one focused workbench.

THE SPINE WORKFLOW

From model results
to engineering decisions.

Choose your tools, investigate the results and carry the reviewed information into detailing and reporting.

01 / STABILITY

Understand how the structure responds.

Bring drift, stiffness and irregularity checks together. Start with the question you need to resolve.

PILES

Locate the piles that need attention.

Read SAFE reactions and compare them with entered capacities. The plan connects governing checks to their locations.

Shown: 375 joints, ENV-GWS. Assumed compression 8–12 MN; tension ⅓ compression; length 18–24 m.

03 / ASSISTANCE

Keep model preparation moving.

Prepare model information, investigate warnings and coordinate data exchanges with tools built for these everyday tasks.

SPINE Assistance section showing its eight tools

SAFE Load Pattern Assignment · Footing Sizer · Slab Reinforcement Import · Intelligent Slab Mesher · ETABS Warning Review · Wall Grid & Elevation Generator · spColumn Export · Pier & Spandrel Label Generator

COORDINATE

Prepare the next section review.

In spColumn Export, classify the ETABS load cases before preparing a supported column or wall-pier transfer.

    Common questions

My ETABS or SAFE model is not detected.+

Open the host application and load the model first. Run SPINE and the host at the same Windows privilege level, then select Detect and choose the correct session. The host API must be installed and available.

    A tool is locked or sign-in fails.+

Check your internet connection and sign in with the email used for activation. Normal includes Stability tools; Design and Assistance require Professional. SPINE keeps sign-in and Copy Machine ID available when access is unavailable.

The tool has no results to display.+

Confirm that the host model has the results required by the tool. Select the relevant members where required, then use Read, Pull Data or Refresh. Attaching to a model alone does not import its results.

A PDF report does not export.+

Check that Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome is installed in a standard location. Choose a writable output folder and close any existing copy of the report before exporting again.
